A custom waterproof blanket has to do two jobs at once: feel like a normal soft throw, and stop liquid from reaching the mattress, couch, or car seat under it. We build them as three-layer constructions: a plush velvet or polar fleece face that absorbs surface moisture, a hidden TPU or PU membrane that blocks soak-through, and a brushed flannel or polar fleece reverse.
